Involved in her people Pola Weiss paints the Mexican people sensitively. As she makes the camera share in her impulsiveness, black/white and colour, sharp and blurred and all kinds of angles succeed each other. Her effusive character is mirrored in the rhythmically melting of synthetic colour patterns that link the scenes.
In 'Cuetzalan y Yo' the artist invites the viewer to colourful ritual feasts. Both the revelles and the camera dance to the music of flute and drum.
