Today in Het Parool: a nice piece about our Media Art on Wikipedia partner project initiated by LIMA, following a conversation with the project leader Sanneke Huisman. One of the main goals of the project: to publish 500 Wikipedia articles about media artists and their works from the collections of Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (RCE), Van Abbemuseum, Frans Hals Museum and LIMA.

How will we meet this goal?

Together with our partners and universities, we organise thematic writing sessions with students. Open sessions are also held every month at a different location in the Netherlands: the Monthly Media Art Meetup!

Vandaag in Het Parool: een mooi stuk over het door LIMA geïnitieerde partnerproject Mediakunst op Wikipedia, naar aanleiding van een gesprek met projectleider Sanneke Huisman. Een van de doelen van het project: het publiceren van 500 Wikipedia-artikelen over mediakunstenaars en hun werken uit de collecties van Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Rijksdienst voor Cultureel Erfgoed (RCE), Van Abbemuseum, Frans Hals Museum en LIMA. 
 
Hoe we dit realiseren?

Samen met onze partners en universiteiten organiseren we thematische schrijfmidden met studenten. Ook vinden er iedere maand openbare sessies plaats op steeds een andere plek in Nederland: de Monthly Media Art Meetup!
