Tom Klinkowstein, Artist in distribution

Tom Klinkowstein is a media artists whose professional experience involves photography, graphic design and video production, communication management, guest lecturing and teaching. Tom Klinkowstein used to be a professor at the West Brabant Art and Design College in Breda, the Netherlands and between 1979 and 1980 he was a head of its graphic design department. Since 2000 he is an Associate Professor of New Media at Hofstra University, New York. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Communications Design department of Pratt Institute. Currently Tom Klinkowstein is President and Creative Director of Media A. He has spoken to over 100 business, political and academic groups, including the Securities Industry Association, the Magazine Publisher's Association, the Smithsonian Institute’s Cooper Hewett Museum of Art and Design, the McLuhan Program in Culture and Technology at the University of Toronto, the Industrial Design Centre at the Indian Institute of Technology and the Dutch Design Institute’s, Doors of Perception conference. His work has been shown in art centers, museums and galleries throughout the world, including the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Venice Biennale in Venice, Italy.
