In 1995 Nan Hoover presented the video sculpture Fountain in a solo exhibition in Wiesbaden. In this installation, three black video towers were placed side by side with monitors on top and showed three synchronized videos. The work was displayed where a fountain once stood. Fountain can be regarded as a memorial piece.
