In 'Transitions' we see the blurry images of a hand moving, up, down, and to the sides. The hand cuts through the light, fades in with it, and moves alongside with the shadow on the wall. After a cut the hand is hidden behind a white surface, appearing and disappearing, coming out of the shadow and going back into it. Hoover plays with the gradients of light of the black and white scale. Sometimes the body fades in with the background, leaving traces of a movement of shapes rather than that of a human figure.
