Discoveries takes place in the future 'somewhere in the middle of nowhere'. Using a mixture of images - some taken from the TV and some specifically dramatised, we see how the crew of the 'SS Enterprise' from the TV series Star Trek comes up against the spiralling pirate satellite Discovery. The spaceship of this nomadic TV pirate appears as a gigantic video camera. Discoveries tells how the pirate attempts to escape from various attackers, but there's more than one story-line here. Applying advanced computer techniques, Marroquin combines TV-images with original material.
