Dig It! (2023, 21 min, pictured) by Gabriel Lester, celebrating the remarkable friendship between Baroness Pannonica de Koenigswarter-Rothschild and Thelonious Monk, has its world premiere this Friday 26 [sold out], followed by screenings on Saturday 27 and Wednesday 31.

Black Rain by Semiconductor (2009, 3 min) also forms part a program with works by LI-MA and its fellow distributors worldwide on Saturday 27 [sold out].

Debra Solomon’s the_living (1997-1998), now distributed by LI-MA, is broadcasting on narrowcasting screens around the festival. Solomon herself will also join a roundtable talk curated by Sanneke Huisman (LI-MA) on Friday 26 January at 18.00–19.30 in de Doelen (Jurriaanse Zaal).

Meanwhile, a looped showreel with works from distributors worldwide will be running at venues OX.space, Joey Ramone and De Doelen during the festival, including Serie Vergissingen Nummer 3: Italie by Wim Gijzen (1970, 4 min), distributed by LI-MA.
