LI-MA and Nieuwe Instituut are pleased to invite you to the opening of REBOOT. Pioneering Digital Art, on Saturday, 7 October, 2023. An exhibition with key works from the period 1960-2000 as well as new works by contemporary makers.

About the exhibition

REBOOT displays the influence of digital technology in art and society. The exhibition includes key works by Annie Abrahams, Livinus van de Bundt & Jeep van de Bundt, Driessens & Verstappen, Yvonne le Grand, Edward Ihnatowicz, JODI, Bas van Koolwijk, Lancel/Maat, Jan Robert Leegte, Peter Luining, Martine Neddam, Marnix de Nijs and Edwin van der Heide, Dick Raaijmakers, Joost Rekveld, Remko Scha, Jeffrey Shaw, Debra Solomon, Steina, P. Struycken, Michel Waisvisz as well as new works inspired by these pioneers by Dries Depoorteer, Cihad Caner, Ali Eslami, Jonas Lund, Janilda Bartolomeu, Luna Maurer & Roel Wouters, Swendeline Ersilia and Play the City, and brui5er.

REBOOT. Pioneering Digital Art can be seen from 7 October 2023 to 1 April 2024 at the Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam. For more information, click here.

On the same day, Nieuwe Instituut will open their new space for digital culture: -1. This space is part laboratory, part exhibition space in which digital makers conduct creative research and the public is welcome.
