The Sustainability Lab is a network of existing labs, technicians, scientists and enthusiasts founded by LIMA. It is a meeting place for people from artistic, scientific, technical, theoretical and practical points of view who want to work together and brainstorm about sustainable accessibility to media art. The Sustainability Lab links theory with practice by making case studies the focal point. We invite artists, curators and conservators to suggest topics for on site research at LIMA with our technical support. To achieve this, LIMA works closely with the SBMK (Foundation for the Conservation of Modern Art), the International Network for the Conservatory of Contemporary Art (INCAA) and the University of Amsterdam.
